If you are in or near the Fraser Valley in British Columbia come and see me at Art on the Farm - http://members.shaw.ca/artonthefarm/index.html
Art on the Farm is a free community art event in Chilliwack on Saturday, August 15 between 10-4. In its 5th year, this funky, family oriented event takes place on a hobby farm in the beautiful Columbia Valley (just past Cultus Lake). All items are made by hand.
Artists are positioned to sell their craft in the apple orchard, through the hazelnut grove, and around the farm. This year’s Art on the Farm will feature pottery, blacksmithing (and demo), glass beads (and demo), hand made children’s clothes, quilts, knitting, spinning, pastels, paintings, jewellery, papier mache, woodworking, hand made soap, cards, Artcars, and more!
I’m looking forward to the adventure. So far I’ve hit a few hurdles. The table and tent I was going to use are at the school where I work and the janitor just waxed the floors and wasn’t at the school. I still have a few more days to try and get my hands on them. I’m thinking of everything I need to bring and set up and it’s starting to overwhelm me. I’ll write a post and show a few pictures after so stay tuned…

Love how you came up with “mo’ funk” from your name! I hope my red dot will show up on that cluster map soon ; )
Unfortunately, I can’t take credit. It was a friend, Greg, in Calgary in 1987. I guess I’ve been saving it up for a long time. My dad’s name is Les and so Greg would say Mo Funk, Les Rock ‘n Roll, or Les Funk, Mo’ Rock ‘n Roll.
