Last Saturday was an amazing and grueling day. I spent the day enjoying the first Ivory Vintage Market. As co-creator and a seller there was a lot on my plate. My co-creator Michelle (Ivory Home Furnishings) and I have been pouring our hearts and souls into this market for three months.

She is a full time mom and vintage furniture salvager and I am a full time teacher and jewellery designer.

We started with a clear vision for our market that I think we achieved and when you take a look at the photographs taken by Donna Vercoe, I’m sure you’ll agree. We felt the event was a major success and still need to get together to celebrate with a cold beverage. Our guests made generous donations to the BC Children’s Hospital Foundation helping us to reach our fundraising goal. We could not have achieved much of our success without our sponsors, so thanks to Urban Baby and Toddler, Yoyo Mama, and ChictoCheek.
Below are just a few photographs of the many vendors who participated in the first Ivory Vintage Market.

I’m enjoying my break from planning, but will be getting back to it tomorrow morning because the next one is August 21.
Stay tuned to the Ivory Vintage Market blog for details of upcoming markets with new and returning vendors.

I’m so excited to be able to go to this one… won’t have an Italian class taking up most of the day to get there, have class & get back! Looks like you guys put together an awesome show!!
