Yikes, my summer is almost over and, while I have completed a lot of work, I still have so much to do.
I researched fall trend colours. Then I decided to do a collection that was two fold; modern and traditional. I did some sketches and planning. I think it’s really helping me to stay on track.

Fall Colors 2010
I started working on the lovely olive shaded jade I purchased most recently.

Modern
The modern line is clean and crisp. I don’t use any of the more fancy filigree links and findings that are present in the traditional line. The traditional line is more formal with faceted stones and chain along with more ornate sterling, gold-filled, and vermeil findings.

Traditional
Here is where I’m at… I’ve completed much of the olive-tonned pieces I wanted to do, perhaps more traditional, but I just have to keep moving forward.

Olive Fall 2010
I think I’ve been pretty good at staying within the goals I’ve set and the design for the new fall collection. I’d love to hear what you think about what I’ve done so far. I still have so far to go and I really need to give myself a deadline for the basics and then I can add more later.

Thanks I know you are out there encouraging me, I really appreciate your support and comments.
