As I’ve said here 100 times, I LOVE color. I usually think of it in terms of clothing and accessories. For many years I’ve had a passion for design in general and more specifically decorating. I’ve been addicted to magazines for years and thanks to amazing blogs now I don’t have to fill the recycle bin as much.
I was just having a quick look at Apartment Therapy when what to wondering eyes should appear?
Better than that, French colorful stripes.
I followed the links down into the rabbit hole and look what I found!
Founded 150 years ago in a little town in the Catalan part of France called Saint Laurent de Cerdans. Les Toiles du Soleil has been in New York City since 2008.
The Les Toiles Du Soleil boutique sells these and other fabrics by the yard. Most are 100% woven cotton with generous 72-inch widths and made on old-world traditional looms. The boutique also carries Sunbrella fabrics.
In addition to fabric, Les Toiles du Soleil also sells a variety of accessories – throw pillows, tote bags, aprons and much more – all made in the store. Clients can customize anything from upholstery to accessories, even curtains for shower or window treatments.

Not sure yet how I can get my hands on some. Had I known I might have asked a friend who recently visited New York to send me some. Perhaps some of my new blogging designer friends know how. Anyone from Design and Lifestyle Bloggers West? Ladies?
