I can’t hardly believe I’ve made it to my 100th post. I’m having so much fun creating and sharing with my friends and followers… and whoever. I have really enjoyed working with color and getting back into obsessing about fashion and design. I thought I might do something special for this post, but really, I have to work on report cards, it’s one of those grey overcast and cold days here, and I have to keep designing jewelry too. So a list of 100 things about something fabulous is a bit out of the question today. I spent my morning trying out my new Nikon D3100, taking product shots of new designs. I’ll add a few pictures soon. I recently celebrated my birthday and bought myself the camera with my birthday money. Thanks mom and dad.
Of course I have to add something pretty to this post so last night I worked on a new palette. This is pink fairy duster (Calliandra eriophylla)

I took this picture two years ago on a birthday trip to Tucson for the mother of all jewelry, bead and rock shows. That was amazing, but I almost loved visiting the desert more. We went to the Sonoran Dessert Museum, not once, but twice. I couldn’t get enough of the amazing cilantro and pistachio pesto they served at the restaurant.
We walked the trails loving all the birds and blooming desert gems.
We were so lucky to hit the right season for flowering plants and cacti.
I was in heaven.
Thanks for reading!
