I arrived home, after a rough day at work and a dentist appointment, to find a little nondescript parcel in the mailbox. Of course I knew exactly what it was… I’m not quite to the point of not knowing what’s turning up in the mail… yet. I quickly changed into my comfy lounge wear, took some advil (for the two day old migraine) and ripped open said parcel.
This is what I found…
Eight little darling rolls of japanese tape. I’ve been seeing them everywhere on the web and just had to try them out. Gorgeous right? These are of course SO my colors. I’m very smitten. So far I think I’ll use them to decorate packaging for Mo’ Funk Designs and perhaps in the odd blog photograph. I’m trying to come up with ideas for a swag bag at the next Ivory Vintage Market and I was going to use the tape to decorate a cute little glassine envelope, now I just have to find the glassine envelopes.
I can’t wait to do more than just these spontaneous photographs. Taken, by the way, after a short nap and re-heated dinner around 6:30 pm. Check out the lighting, after a minor adjustment in iPhoto.

I know right? I think today while I’m home with a migraine I’ll just stare at them though.
[...] and doilies. I thought I would just use Japanese tape, the kind I found on ETSY and posted about here. I of course chose my new tape in my trademark colors and so my envelopes are quite different [...]
