It’s the middle of July and this week my mom finally got her Christmas and birthday presents. On Monday we headed south shopping, along with my cousin Karen. Our plan was to stay mid-way in Burlington, Washington, then shop south at Nordstrom and Alderwood Mall the first day and then north along the way back home the second day. I had a few things on my wish list inspired by Victoria’s (sfgirlbybay) fab friday post, packing round up for her recent trip to Paris. Even though I love colour, I’ve lately been drawn to creams, grays, and whites. So armed with my shopping list, determined to find success, off we went…
Coldwater Creek, Target, Macy’s, Eddie Bauer, Nordstrom, Clarks Shoes, Ross
I know right?
And for those of you who are saying to yourselves, yes but where is the colour she’s always talking about… You may have heard me dreamily talk about the crab bisque at the Nordstrom cafe… well I had it again and it was everything I remembered. It’s not for the faint of heart and it’s something you would only have once in a while, but WOW! I love it.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and were so pleased with the service at Nordstrom and our hotel (Hampton Inn), it truly added to a wonderful trip that we will repeat again once our bank accounts and feet have recovered.
