Enough of this grey, right? I’ve been spending some of my summer discovering and reading new blogs. One of my new favorites is from Canadian blogger, Jane Flanagan, who has a real amazing eye for art and design. She’s recently blogged on Ill Seen, Ill Said, about Ontario peaches (Ode to the Ontario peach and Muddled peach, raspberry, mint) and I couldn’t resist making a color palette from a picture I took of one of my dad’s peaches, that is almost ready to be picked. I focused on the colors of the fruit for this palette and I’m really happy with it. I love the grey mauve along beside the various shades of peach.

I hope you are all enjoying the best part of summer treats like fresh sun ripened fruit and vegetables. We picked the most glorious red currents tonight and I will be making a palette of the pictures I took of them soon.
