I generally gravitate to neutral, earthy shades as you can see by most of my posts. But I do love colour, and on a grey winter day like today I need colour.
COLOURlovers Palette: cactus bloom
This cactus was blooming at my best friend Claudia’s over the holidays. I love the intense pink, magenta and lavender of it. Can you tell I’m already thinking of spring? I always wish the seasons were slightly shorter than they are. I’m usually ready for winter way before everybody else and now I’m ready for spring early too (probably not before EVERYBODY else, but ya know). Spring 2012 is predicted to have many of these shades (this post). I’m busy filling my weekend with jewelry creation, product photography, editing, and listing new items in my ETSY shop.
