A while ago one of my favourite bloggers, Victoria of sfgirlbybay, wrote about getting new glasses from 1800specs.com. I love her style, and liked the new pair she shared with us, so I decided to have a look. Since turning 41 I’ve had to wear progressive lenses, which are very expensive in Canada. While exploring the website I discovered that you could in fact order progressive lenses online. I decided to give it a try, especially since even with the progressive lenses they were only $75USD.
I was so excited when they arrived, I ripped open the box and put them on immediately. The lens quality was great; sharp and crisp. I love the vintage, nerdy look in tortoiseshell.
If I were a bit more confident I would post a picture of myself wearing them, but I’m not quite there yet. If you are good at searching there is one on instagram…

Those look amazing! I’m so glad the order worked out! I was a bit nervous ordering mine online too but it’s definitely the way to go! (especially with how expensive glasses are normally)
